If your job were to stand hundreds of feet up in the air on a narrow steel beam waiting on the crane operator to deliver the next steel beam for you to attach, you would recognize the components of this table as "bull pins". They are used by construction workers to align the holes when assembling the massive steel beams to create the skeleton of a new building. Inspiration for artists come from the strangest places, in this case, way up in the sky. We are developing a line of furniture using these pins. Barstools, pub tables, small drink tables and end tables, are all on the drawing board and should be ready for show-and-tell soon. One thing is for sure, no two tables will ever be the same as the blow of the blacksmith's hammer distorts each pin into its own shape.
